A Venture in the Snow!

I have to say that I had a really good day on Friday - maybe I am excited that Hallowe'en is coming, but I think I was just plain happy because it was Friday. Mrs. Speed was too! I had a very social day, visited with Miss McCoy, Mr. Loewen, Mr. Vause, Mrs. Thode and all sorts of teachers and I had a fun class in drama - Brett and I did some performing on stage practising our "knock knock" jokes. He is such a great guy!
Mrs. Speed came up with this idea that we should go for a walk to the J.S. Wood library to get some books. She wanted to get Cat in the Hat and a Hallowe'en book she would like me to read with her. Well...we started our walk and it started to snow but Mrs. Speed said, "Let's just keep on going!" I don't know about her - she has some crazy ideas sometimes, but they are fun so...we kept on walking and those few flakes turned into a blizzard. Man, did I laugh and we decided to turn back but you know what? I caught those first flakes of winter on my head, my nose and even on my tongue! I thought it was fun! Mrs. Speed said she would get those books for us on the weekend so I hope she does, otherwise we'll have to go for another crazy walk!
